The Slow Death of Autumn

Here in Chicago the Autumn season is generally quite short-lived due to our fluctuating weather. We are now at that point where the the color and foliage of Fall are fading fast. I thought I better take a few photos before the winds of Winter erase all evidence of the season.


This is the late afternoon view from my palatial penthouse:

Notice how there are no driveways in this plush neighborhood. Street parking as far as the eye can see. Can't wait for Winter.

The High Tower of my mountainous fortress hidden behind the Black Forest.

Still some color here.

Strong Lake breezes have taken their toll.
